We enjoyed this trip immensely. We learnt a great deal about 19th–20th century Bukharian history, much of which was completely new to us. The historic houses we visited were stunning, and we took countless photos. Although our tour lasted only half a day due to other commitments from 15:00, our guide kindly drove us to our next destination and helped us find lunch. His warmth, hospitality and expertise make this tour something we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bukhara, especially those who wish to understand the city’s history and culture while enjoying true Bukharian hospitality.
We look back on a wonderful trip to Uzbekistan and, thanks to the great organization, were able to concentrate on enjoying the culture and sights. We travel a lot and cannot praise the two fantastic guides in Bukhara and Samarkand enough!!! They were extremely competent with a great deal of specialist knowledge, adapted perfectly to our needs, were humorous and open-minded. They were well organized and very punctual. There was simply nothing to criticize, not even the slightest thing. Simply a perfect choice.
